Meet Moor Park 10.15am - Pitch 2

"Always finish on a good 'un" as the saying goes! After 89 minutes and a goal down, no-one could have foreseen how this one would eventually turn out ......

Geoff decided to mix things up for the last game of the campaign giving everyone the opportunity to see what it's like playing out of position :o)

HC created the better chances first half with the gaffer and the woodwork the main reason we went in 0-0 at the break. Soon after however HC made the breakthrough with a rebound from a powerful drive that Geoff could not hold - 0-1

After his sky rocket in the first half, Gary found space and came close to levelling. Another superb save from Geoff kept us in with a shout and it always felt like there was something for us out of the game. As I anticipated on 80 minutes Geoff rejigged the team to its normal shape which immediately showed positive signs ...  

Fortunately for us Mr. Selcoe decided to add five minutes, which turned out to be possibly the most amazing of our season as HC seemed to fade - Cory 'megs' Sellers came into his own as space opened up on the left.

92 minutes - a through ball to Jesus sees him " dance then wherever you may be" through the HC defence and plant a peach top corner for the equaliser

94 minutes - another miracle as Jesus chases a lost cause and crosses for Scoll to slam home

95 minutes - a delicious cross from Cory is met perfectly by Nath L at the far post with a diving header to wrap things up. 

It ain't over till the fat bird sings lol :o) - a great end to a testing season well done to all - Oh and before I sign off MOM today goes without doubt to today's saviour Mr. B. well done Geoff....
